Horses are a definite theme for April. They were on both of my SoulCollage® cards as well as the card I pulled from the Power Deck. I love that their energy is so strong this month.
The SoulCollage® card I pulled for April I call "Storm Coming." I am one who anticipates the storm. It lingers all around me. I am weary yet I am ready. I will stay grounded by taking care of myself, setting healthy boundaries, practicing self care, and getting plenty of rest. Rest is not an option but a necessity moving forward. I am stronger and actually accomplish more when I do less and get more rest. Horse energy has my back and reminds me that I am free to choose my reaction to every storm that comes my way. I choose to remain calm in the eye of the storm, at all costs. Horse also tells me that "I can call on my reserves of stamina and strength to get me through this, you're much more powerful than you think, and this situation requires strong warrior energy, balanced with sensitivity, patience, and compassion. Call on horse when you need a boost of strength and endurance to handle the tasks before you. And if horse is your power animal, "your personal freedom is of the highest priority."

Each night I chose an unfinished card to complete to add to my Holy Night's journey. For this month I made this card I call "Bring on the Rain." Interesting theme for this month, especially in light of dad's death. I am one who is ready for the storm. Bring on the Rain. I welcome the wind and the rain to wash me clean of my past. I am grounded and protected and I trust that all is well and the Universe has my back. Horse reminds me that I am free to choose my response to the storm. I call on horse to help me expand and deepen my spiritual practices. Crow lets me know that I am on the verge of manifesting something I've been working on for quite awhile.
